  • You sit all by yourself.
  • You still love your exersauser
  • You wear 3-6 month clothes
  • You weigh 14 lbs 12 oz (25-50%)

I am feeling....

Several blogs I read had this post today and I thought it was a great idea......

I am feeling...

Blessed. I love my little family and I am so thankful for Jarred and Ava.

Stressed. What can I say, it's flu season.

Burdened. I am burdened for my family.

Excited. About my new house.

Worried. I hope Ava learns to eat better, I don't want more therapy for her.

Hope. I hope for the best in all the situations that have been going on lately.

Loved. Ava has started rubbing my face in sweet little moments. So sweet.

Proud. So proud of Jarred and how he is doing so well in school.

Overwhelmed. Sometimes I need to slow down.

Lucky. To have the best friends.

Glad. Lincoln was born today and Aubree is coming soon.

God is So Good!

Lincoln Micheal is here. What an answer to prayers. We have prayed for a baby for Amanda and Lawrence for over 2 years and they received this most precious gift this morning, a perfect little boy.

7lbs 7oz
19 1/2 inches
I was getting tears in my eyes as I was looking at this little guy. He is such an answer to prayers and it truly shows that God does give us the desires of our hearts. I told him how very lucky he was to have his parents and how lucky he was to have such a pretty girlfriend! ha ;-)
I was also a little sad because Ava is so big compared to Lincoln. My baby is growing up so fast.

We love you Lincoln. I can't wait to see the awesome plans God has for your life!

Lincoln will be here TOMORROW!!

Please pray for my friends, Amanda and Lawrence. They will be having their little boy tomorrow via C-section. Please pray for a safe mom and baby!

Catching up from the weekend.....

It has been so busy for us lately. With selling the house, moving, finding a house, and work it has been CRAZY! Work has been BAD with a capital B-A-D. Flu season is here and I do believe it is going to be a long one! I hope you all have gotten your flu shot. We had a busy weekend but I just now have a minute to post about it.

Saturday was my 10 year reunion. I can't believe it has already been 10 years, I sure do not feel like it has. You see, I loved high school! We all had such great times and made many happy memories. It was so good to see all my friends that I have not seen in years. I just hope that at our next reunion more show up.
Before the reunion we had a mini-reunion because Amanda was not going. We tried to talk her into going but she said that she was not going to the bar that it was at fat and pregnant! ha ;-)These girls have been my best friends since the 9th or 10th grade...I can't really remember when. It feels like we have been together forever! ;-) I am so thankful for both of them!Ava is doing a little better with eating. She still gets mad and really does not want much to do with it. I hope she gets better soon. How long does it usually take before they are used to eating from a spoon?

I ♥ this little girl

I
Faces has a weekly photo challenge for people to submit each week! This week was perfect for us because the theme is "Completely Candid" and I captured the perfect picture for this. This week we got out the "Johnny Jump-it" and Ava loves it! She has not figured out how to jump quite yet but she loves just swinging around in it!

I hate Cereal

Today we had lunch with Amanda Panda! We still can't believe that Lincoln will be here next week. Her pregnancy has went by at record speed for me (I am sure not for her!) I am going to take a few maternity photos of her and her hubs this weekend.Well, Ava officially hates cereal! I even tried to mash up bananas and mix it with the cereal and she still was not having it! I sure hope she gets better. They told me when she started cereal/baby foods we may need more therapy. I sure hope not! It is so expensive and it makes me worry about my little girl. She has a tongue thrust that we were hoping she grew out of but she was using the tongue to push the cereal out. We are hoping tomorrow morning will be better!
Mom,
This was NOT fun! I think I will just stick with breast milk forever!
Thanks,
Ava

Houseless

We are now officially "houseless". To be honest, it is so weird to know someone else is living in my house. I was wondering yesterday if the neighbor kids went and said hello. I am going to miss them so much. I am going to miss so much about that house. This is the house Jarred proposed to me in. This is the house we lived in after we got married. This is the house I lived when I finally finished school. This is the house we lost one baby. This is the house we had one baby. This is the house that I was in day and night on bedrest to have that baby. This is the house that I loved for so many years. I thank God for the many lessons and memories and blessings in that house. I pray that God blesses the new home owner just as he did Jarred and I.

The new homeowner is single and only moving in 10 boxes, I think we moved out 187 boxes...yikes.
It was funny to us that he is in Jarred's exact situation when he moved in. I wonder if by the time he moves out he will have meet the girl of his dreams and started a family like we did. I pray so.

This is what I am really going to miss. This is the tree that I saw through the doors of my living room while laying on the couch. I remember laying on the couch and praying. I prayed when I lost the baby, this was one of the hardest things I had to go through in that house. I remember looking out at that tree and being so upset that all I could do was cry out to God. I think this was the turning point in my relationship with God and I am so thankful for that. I remember after being put on bedrest laying on the couch again and crying out to God to protect this new baby. This was one of the scrarest things I had to go through in that house. I am going to miss that tree. I took several pictures of it and I plan on framing it in my new house.

Pray that we found the right house for us. I want it to be right where we need to be.
