Prayer Request

Please pray for my partner Jim. He had a stoke this morning. Please pray for a quick recovery. I can't imagine work without him. He is such a neat man, I feel like I am a better pharmacist because of his influence. I always look forward to working with him because it is never a dull shift. He is always good for a laugh, usually many! Thanks for lifting this up to the one who even cares more than I do!

Our Little Bluebonnet

There is nothing like taking a drive with the two people you love. We went after church in the search for bluebonnets. Ava slept on the way there and Jarred serious cracked me up the whole drive. At one point I was laughing so hard I was crying. I wonder where he comes up with it all!?! One thing for sure is it was not a dull drive, really it never is! Thanks for a wonderful day Jarred and Ava! I thank both of you for always being willing to pose!

Update-- Part 3.....A party for our little lady!

Saturday was the big day for Ava's first birthday. We had a great turn out, she is one loved little lady. I worked hard all week to put it together, I could not have been happier with the result. Ava had a great time. I often wondered if she knew everyone was there to celebrate her? I think my favorite decoration was the balloons. I found them on line, aren't they cute? I also loved how my wrapped presents turned out. I think presentation is everything!The food table. My mother-in-law sewed the table cloth. I wonder if she is tried of my parties? ha I loved how the china cabinet turned out. I put Ava's 1 month- 12 month pictures. I may leave it there for good, I love seeing how she has changed through out the year.

She got many wonderful gifts. Have I mentioned before that we have the best friends and family? Well, if I have not....WE DO! Her favorite gift was the two "new cars" she got. She just wants to sit in the one her Papa John and Aunt Ash gave, it is the cutest thing. The other is perfect for her much loved walks. She got a new piggy bank because Aubree was appalled that she did not have one. She even shared some of her change with her. You should see the cutest ladybug back pack, lunch sack, and nap mat that Ava got. All I can say is this little lady is SPOILED!She loved, I mean loved the cake! This was probably the best part of the day. Is there anything better than a one year old and cake? I really believe there is not. Especially when that one year old is your daughter.I hope Ava knows everyday we celebrate her life and that God has blessed our family with her sweet spirit. She is one loved girl! We feel so blessed to have her!

Update--Part 2 (Eggs and more Eggs)

On Good Friday, Mamaw and Pappy, Brooke, Chris, and Nathan got to our house for the big weekend. It was such a treat to have them arrive early. We exchanged birthday gifts (this is a busy month in our family) and gave the kids their Easter baskets.

Then on to the fun! Easter Egg Dying. I must be crazy. A one year old and a 2 1/2 year old with dye? Yes, that was us. I am happy to report that we had a blast. Not even any real big messes. The glass top table and the table cloth under Nathan's chair was the trick. Nathan thought the colorful cups looked so good he would take a drink. Hope that was okay.Warning: Messy hands will result!Ava and Aunt BoonWorks of Art!

The next morning was the big hunt. Okay, not really big but it was a good hunt.
Nathan loved it! He did so good. Ava really did not get it, but I am sure next year she will be ready. Nathan shared a few of his eggs with her!What great fun we had. I sure wish we all lived closer and could do this more often!
It was a great day indeed!

Update--Part 1

This past week has been so crazy I did not have time to update often. On Wednesday, we went out for a special dinner to celebrate Jarred and Ava's birthdays. I have to say, it was a great night celebrating this special day with our family and friends. I always try to make each birthday a special one and this year was no different! It was so neat being able to celebrate both Jarred and Ava on the same day. I think there is nothing more special than Ava sharing this day with her daddy. March 31st is one of my favorite days!
Ava loved the fish. She would just watch as they swam by. Aunt Ash gave her this stuffed animal fish and she loved it. Ash, Mi Mi, Ava, and Mommy
What a group! We have been blessed with the best friends. They all came out to celebrate with us. We all had such a great time that I hated to see the night end.Ava's best friend, Aubree. I love both of these girls so!

Happy Easter!

We have had a wonderful Easter! It has been a crazy weekend with Ava's party (pics coming soon, I promise!). We were lucky enough to still have Mamie, Mamaw, and Pappy with us for church this morning. What a wonderful, wonderful day!
