What a busy, but oh so fun month!

October has to be one of my favorite months! Could it be because it's the month of my birth? This month has went by so fast. Only 3 more days till my special day! Yippe!
Thought I would share (in pictures) some fun we have been having. And to think we still have so much more fun to come. I am giddy!
Up first, some fun at the pumpkin patch. Well, maybe fun for Carson. Not so much for Ava. Long story, but not my proudest mommy moment trying to take these pictures. Oh well, Old McDonald Farm worker's I promise my girl is usually not this bratty and I do love her. Laughing....

Then some fun at Ava's besties birthday party. Aubree, you are the cutest Hula girl ever!

Jeff and Alecia always have the best pumpkin carving parties. Ava was really into using her knife. At least this year she didn't put it in her mouth. I guess this mommy took the hint to watch her child carefully when a knife is involved. It may also be because I am almost another year wiser.

Here the little pumpkin and I are at 27 weeks.

And finally, we are in decorating mode now. Emma's furniture has arrived.

What a fun day we had today. It may be the hormones but I found myself tearing up being so thankful for my sweet family. It was perfect for my airplane loving girl. Simply AMAZING.



Ava got to go inside the cockpit of one, I hope they don't still fly that one because I think she tired to push every button. The pilot made a comment on how much she sure loves planes, maybe as much as he did when he was her age. I just looked at him and politely stated that Jesus and I have had a talk and I just really don't think he would put me through that career path. He laughed, I was serious!


It is the simplest of days that make me so happy. Seeing this girl and her daddy in total awe was a highlight. One that I hope is etched into my memory.

Some days are just fun....

This was one of them. Getting to see all the wonder my little two year old has for all things nature. What a perfect place for us to visit, the butterfly museum did not disappoint. Ava was scared if they did get to close, or maybe I should say terrified. She kept repeating, "Mommy, becareful butterflies bite!" At the end she did think they were nice and keep telling me they didn't have teeth. It was such a fun morning. It made me so thankful God gave me this special girl who brings so much joy to my life. What fun times I have with this girl!

Really, nothing is much better! We are so enjoying the beginning of fall.

Here we are at 22 weeks

I am behind. Again. But I wanted to post how we looked at 22 weeks.

Things are progressing nicely. Happy to report our little sweet girl is looking good. The down side is that I am trying to go a little faster so another shot was added this week. At least it's just once a week instead of daily. Did I mention that I am tired of needles. Well, I am. You should see my poor stomach. Now it will be both the upper legs and stomach that is all bruised up. I. AM. SICK. OF. SHOTS. I forgot to mention the new shot is thick as cooking oil. Yep, you can actually see through the needle. I hope my girls appreciate this one day? Probably not! ;-)

Since they are taking little Emma early she will be here in 3 short months. This has flown by!

Recap on Ava's first day of school.

Ava has went to school a total of 4 times and you guessed it she is already sick. Running over 103 today so our fun plans were canceled and off to the doctor we went. We are thinking just a sinus infection, hopefully antibiotics will kick it soon. When asking Ava if she feels bad, her response is "No, Aba okay Mommy!" This girl is even sweet when sick. Now back to school pictures....I got a little side tracked.


On the first morning Ava kept telling me she was excited for school. She wanted to go as soon as her breakfast was consumed. Let's just say that when Jarred picked her up they had quite a few stories to share:
1. She loved her lunch. So much that after hers was done she moved on to others.
2. She went pee in the potty twice. That stinker won't go at home.
3. No nap for our girl. She was the only one.
4. During music she sang the loudest
Yikes! Do we have that child?

I am happy to report that she did calm down a little. Naps are being taking, but she is still taking some lunches! At least she loves going. The best part is her teacher is Ms. Nancy who Ava calls Fancy Nancy!


Happy school year Ava! I hope you continue to love it.

More fun at Mamie's

Ava and I spent the weekend at the in-laws while daddy was at the deer lease getting things ready for the season. It was Canton weekend and I wanted to do a little shopping for Emma's room. Of course, Ava got a few cute things as well.

Ava loves farm life. Feeding horses, fixing flat tires, taking in trash, and scooping poop. What could be better? I am really going to talk to this girl. I mean scooping poop, Really Ava?






Then there is outdoor "snack" picnics....
