We had a nice week at the grandparents. It was nice to get away and get some help. We had a busy week and had a lot of visitors to come see Miss Ava Grace. We celebrated all the birthday's that we missed due to the birth of Ava....Jarred's, Susie's and Ma-maw Ruth turned 80. The sweetest little visitor was her cousin Nathan, he kept saying "Baby". We got home Saturday night and it was our first night alone with no help. I was a little scared but we did just fine!

Looks like everyone had a wonderful time. Ava looked adorable too!
ReplyDeleteAngela,
ReplyDeleteOh, I just love these pictures of little Ava- it makes me miss Amelia being so little...
Those bunny slippers are SO cute and your mom is as beautiful as I remember her! She looks so young! I am so happy for you and your husband. Here is my one piece of advice (for now) get some kind of journal or notebook (don't worry about making it perfect or you'll never get started) and write in it every week. Week one, Week two, etc. Write about Ava's sleep habits, new milestones, funny/sweet things she does, people who come to visit her, etc. I have done this since Amelia was born and it has really helped me to remember little things that otherwise I would forget. I try to keep it short and simple so that I don't run out of time or get behind. Believe me, you will forget things even if you don't want to!
