He is Risen! Happy Easter

“Now on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they, and certain other women with them, came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared. But they found the stone rolled away from the tomb. Then they went in and did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. And it happened, as they were greatly perplexed about this, that behold, two men stood by them in shining garments. Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, saying, “The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.” And they remembered His words.” (Luke 24:1-8)

We hope you all are having a Happy Easter! We have been enjoying the day just hanging out. This morning everyone got their Easter baskets including Ava! She got the cutest bunny slippers, bows, and a cute pair of shoes....can you say spoiled already? I had to dress her up in her first Easter dress and take pictures. Isn't she cute?
Tomorrow we are heading to spend the week at Ma-maw and Pa-paw Tompkins to get a little help. Please pray for Ava and I, we are having a little difficulty breast feeding and I really do not want to have to give it up. Please pray that it will become easier because I truly desire to continue. God bless you all on this Easter Sunday!

  2. She is adorable in her Easter outfit! I love all the sweet little girl things. I pray that breastfeeding gets easier for you. Wyatt never would latch on, so I would pump and them feed him out of a bottle. It was very frustrating and exhausting, so I gave up at 6 weeks. That is the one thing I regret with him. I wish I would've sucked it up and done it longer. I hope things get easier for ya'll. I understand the stress! You're still an amazing mom, no matter what the outcome :)

  5. Hello Darlings...

I think little Ava Grace looks like her Ma-Maw. I am certainly thankful for the expertise that Mrs Thompkins has and I bet she will be able to help with the breast feeding situation. I Love Y'all and my prayers are with you all- Auntie
